2. Data processed when the website is accessed (server log files)

When you access this website, our hosting provider automatically processes technically necessary data that your browser transmits:

the IP address of the requesting device,
the date and time of access,
the name and URL of the file retrieved and the volume of data transferred,
the browser type and version and the operating system and, where applicable, the website previously visited (referrer).

The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in the secure, stable and error-free operation of the website). The IP addresses are stored in our hosting provider’s log files in anonymised form; the log data is retained for a maximum of eight weeks and then deleted, unless it is exceptionally required to investigate faults or misuse. The data is not combined with other data sources.

3. Hosting

This website is hosted by IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Str. 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany. IONOS SE processes the data referred to in section 2 on our behalf as a processor (Art. 28 GDPR) for the purpose of providing this website. Processing takes place exclusively in data centres within the European Union or the European Economic Area; no transfer to third countries takes place.

4. Locally embedded fonts

The fonts used (Montserrat, Inter) are embedded locally on the server. When you access the website, no connection to third-party servers (e.g. Google Fonts) is established.

5. No cookies, no tracking

This website does not set any cookies, does not use any analytics or tracking tools and does not embed any social-media plugins or other third-party content.

6. Contacting us

If you contact us by email or telephone, we process the information you provide (e.g. your name, contact details and the content of your enquiry) solely in order to handle your request. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (our legitimate interest in responding). The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to handle your request and no statutory retention obligations prevent deletion.

7. Your rights

Under the GDPR, you have the right to:

obtain information about the data we process about you (Art. 15),
have inaccurate data corrected (Art. 16),
have data erased (Art. 17) and to have processing restricted (Art. 18),
data portability (Art. 20).

Your right to object (Art. 21 GDPR)

You have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of personal data concerning you which is carried out on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). If you object, we will no longer process the data concerned unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or the processing serves to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 GDPR), in particular in the Member State of your residence or the place of the alleged infringement.
